Mochima surely is one of the most famous places of Venezuela!
There are three distinct island groups each a little different from each other: the Chimanas, Borracha and Caracas Island groups besides many smaller individual islands.
They are rich in flora and fauna. Soft coral, hard coral, more types of anemones than anywhere else in the world, sponges, many kinds of tube worms, great variety and quantity of all reef fish, spotted morays, often large snappers and groupers, cleaner shrimp stations, large hermit crabs, occasionally a ray or turtle.
